oh and they want a deductable of over 2700.00 also before they will pay 1250.00 on a new wheelchair under the new policy them made me get! they run a great thing at assurant health if you never get hurt or sick! they love to take money from people. they want over 10k a year from me for health insurance now that i moved and when i need a wheelchair they SCREW YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND THIS IS THE TRUTH!!!
however assurant then knows i want a new wheelchair and they make me change policies because i move to a different address! so once that happened my premium went from 780 bucks to over 22 hundred for 3 months coverage and then they told me now i can go to that company on pine island road! but with the new policy they only over 1250 bucks on a new wheelchair!!! assurant health screwed me so bad and you are selling people insurance that will leave them screwed if something happens!
not to be a jerk but assurant told me to go to their website to find DME so i did! the one on pine island! when they called assurant with my prescription assurant told them that they was out of network and i couldnt go there and when i asked why they was on there website no one could answer that!

Hey John. I do understand your dilemma. Insurance is a business, and the companies do not care about people like you the way they should. The only thing is, they do have networks that you must stay within to be covered. So, if you are with Asssurant, you must get your products from a place that is in Assuranct’s network.
That being said, we are a broker (agent), We are appointed with all the major carriers in Florida and Pennsylvania. When we place a client with a company of THEIR choice, we will change them to another company if it is not working out with the company they are with.
