Question by : How late can you claim auto insurance in case of an auto accident?
Assume there was an auto accident, where the other party is at fault. How long will I be eligible to claim the expenses from the other party’s auto insurance company? Is there a time period (from the date of accident) beyond which I will not be able to claim the expenses?

In the UK, you have to report any accident to the insurance company within 24 hours, and then they usually like to settle things ASAP.
