I have news for you idiots, private insurance is a ponzi scheme, that’s why AIG failed. Is health more important than insuring a fucking derivative contract? A government program CANNOT GO BROKE OR BANKRUPT, like a private company can. They can back any program with their full faith and credit that any sovereign entity can. For those that want privatization just look at what happened to all of the 401k programs, now gone in bankruptcy. Fracking is a huge disaster waiting to happen but we should just accept the words of corporations that they are not poisoning our very future lives by contaminating our ground water that we need to LIVE. There are chemicals in the injection solution that they will not release the contents of but we should just trust them that it isn’t deadly even though we know already that some of them are in fact deadly. They drill through the ground water, fracture the shale, siphon off the gas and release methane and all kind of environmental problems. And people talk or less regulation. Sure let’s do it, kill ourselves quicker. Corporations do not care if they murder you because by the time it goes to court …

I was naive and a corporate manager for a large insurance company for 10 years. I am ashamed of my prior participation in this industry and can verify your Ponzi scheme statement. As for DR Paul, you actually have the wrong idea about his theory. He ACTUALLY wants to take us back to a time like the 60s, when health care was simply affordable by all and insurance companies weren’t needed. The only way to do this is to stop subsidizing them through the government (this is where the problem is)
This place is a giant coal town if you know what I mean.
They make darn sure that certain other non-privledged labor categories are well staffed into surplus, though, by H1Bs etc. to reduce labor expenses to the liking of the corporations.
The state should by all the medical schools and allow students to learn for no cost. Just crank out medical staff like the USSR there was a doctor on every corner the banks, colleges and pharmas make something simple into an expensive affair by creating scarcity by cost and regulations.
THe Key to success is sacrifice
Our system is like Joe and Betty worker backing some chronic gambler’s losses at the craps table and slots, but recieving nada from his winnings. Joe and Betty also get to finance the social sevice handouts of the lower classes so they don’t revolt while the elite rich laugh all the way to the vault. They also get to be shaken down for minor infractions like jaywalking while the elites steal billions. Only a fool would agree to this retarded system of predation.
