Setting up Your Own Company: Steps Needed to Launch a Legitimate Business
Charleston, SC (PRWEB) March 12, 2012
There is plenty of talk about pulling yourself up by the bootstraps, the Land of Opportunity, and the American Dream. Kids all want to be entrepreneurs, just like their Hip Hop music idols. But there are some basic rules to the game, and if you dont know them then youre going to spend your life on the bench as a bystander. A surprising number of people leave college with no concept of financial literacy, and a disturbingly large segment of the population has no clue about what it actually takes to launch a business.
But I believe in the value of continuing education. Even if you know nothing about how to manage money, start a business, or save for retirement you can just do your homework right here on this website and I guarantee youll learn plenty. Thats because I learned most of my financial and business lessons the hard way, in the school of life, where you get taught stuff they never even mention in the classroom.
Today well talk about things that you need to know to launch a business.
The mechanics of opening a business dont necessarily involve writing up a fancy business plan and convincing your banker that you have what it takes to succeed. Thats great, and I encourage you to come up with an articulate plan. But plenty of people have earned millions of dollars with an idea and a business that they started without any help, on a shoestring budget, with no real assets. Thats especially true if you launch an online business because the overhead is low and the potential to gain customers is practically unlimited.
But there are some nuts and bolts you really cannot avoid if you want to get into business the right way and continue without obstacles.

Do I need non-owned vehicle insurance for my pizza delivery business?
Question by Mo: Do I need non-owned vehicle insurance for my pizza delivery business?
I am starting a pizza delivery business but I cannot find an insurance carrier that will provide non-owned vehicle insurance. Do I need it? Can I just have the standard business owner policy?
Best answer:
Answer by mbrcatz
I’ll let you decide.
First, let me tell you what the coverage is.
If one of your employees is delivering a pizza in their own car, and they hit a pedestrian and kill them, the lawyer is going to sue you, because they were acting in the course of their employment.
Do you WANT to have any coverage, if you get a million dollar lawsuit against you? If so, you need the coverage.
Alternatively, you can buy a car, and insure it on your business insurance policy, and let your employees use that car to deliver the pizzas.
Whatever you mean by standard business owner policy, well, coverage is NOT standardized! So if you HAVE no nonowned auto liability under that policy, then you DON’T get that protection.

Rent The Help to Offer a Helping Hand to the Richmond Community by Providing Everyday Home and Business Labor Assistance
Richmond, VA (PRWEB) February 15, 2012
Although the marketplace currently offers homeowners solutions to complex problems in the way of Handyman services, there is yet to be a company that will send a dependable and affordable solution to everyday projects as simple as mulching, organizing a garage or hanging holiday decorations.
The CEO & Founder of Rent The Help, Corey Divine, states that the formation of Rent The Help was driven by the never ending need for labor assistance around the home. From week to week I was always hearing about someone needing help around their home, whether it was moving a couple boxes to the attic or planting a couple trees in the yard. One situation I specifically remember was when a close friend of mine had a septic drain field that was covered in brush and needed to be cleared. He called several companies to get quotes for the job and every one of them gave him a price that made him cringe. Instead of paying the high price to get the job done he had a couple of his friends help him out. Thats what made me realize the community was in need of an affordable solution to such a problem, and Rent The Help was born. Since the opening of Rent The Help, my friend has told me numerous times that our services would have been perfect for him because he could have hired the help and directly supervised them so the project was done the way he wanted it done.
The scary reality of hiring a friend or colleague to help is that the homeowner is responsible for any injury incurred on their property. Rent The Help solves this problem because all of its associates are fully insured, bonded and background checked. Rent The Help incurs all the risk of injury and provides complete protection to the client. Moreover, all Rent The Help employees are uniformed and supplied with personalized identification badges, which verify their identities before the job even begins.
As Corey Divine says, I understand it can be difficult to let a stranger into your home and I wanted to eliminate any hesitation. I want our clients to feel comfortable letting our associates into their home or business.
Rent The Helps business is helping people and, as Mitzi Fisher, Sales Representative for Rent The Help, states, It truly is great to sell a service that can assist the everyday homeowner. I absolutely love seeing the smile on our clients faces when we provide them with an affordable solution to a project that they had been putting off for months.
Potential clients can learn more about Rent The Help by visiting http://www.rentthehelp.com or by checking out Rent The Help on Facebook, LinkedIn, and/or Yelp. Those interested in requesting service today can do so on the website or contact Rent The Help directly at 804-249-9024.
If you have work and need help the choice is Rent The Help.
