is the only way out of the fine for the 2014 health care law suicide?

This clip runs through my head every time I read or hear something about the health care plan…. watch it then read…. Every time I see something about the health care plan, it makes me wonder more and more… is my government trying to fine me for being alive? Are they trying to punish me in some way for being born? I’m lower middle class, which means I live hand to mouth with not so much as a dime left over at the end of the month to save. I don’t have all the nice luxuries some have like a cellphone, I don’t have cable or uverse. I don’t even have call waiting or caller id on my phone because I can’t afford the monthly charge, forget about long distance. I make just over the amount to qualify for ANY assistance. Now I read this “Individual mandate. Most people will be required to buy insurance or pay a penalty.” With what money are they going to force me to buy insurance, or fine me? Is the only solution to avoid paying the fine Suicide? I mean if I’m dead you can’t fine me, cause I wont need the insurance. Is this the only way out of it, Suicide? News Article – www.usatoday.com

AssuraPlans Launches Website with Long-Term Care Insurance Solutions
(PRWEB) March 06, 2012
AssuraPlans, LLCs inaugural website offers consumers a one-stop source for information and advice on long-term care insurance (LTCI), with easy-to-understand insurance options, affordable solutions and personalized support.
With its entry into the online long term care insurance marketplace, the health and life insurance agency is revolutionizing long-term care insurance distribution by applying innovative sales and policy placement strategies. Through call-center sales, electronic underwriting and submission, industry expertise and strict regulatory compliance, AssuraPlans will make long-term care insurance an accessible option for Americans.
Long-term care is required when a person suffers a prolonged physical illness, disability or cognitive impairment (such as Alzheimers or Parkinsons Diseases), which prevents them from living independently and carrying out basic self-care tasks called Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, eating, etc.
AssuraPlans is licensed in most states and has partnered with highly rated insurance companies to offer personalized solutions through convenient telephone consultations. In addition to LTCI, its portfolio of products also includes health, life, accident, disability and critical illness insurance.
The recently launched website outlines the reasons why a growing number of Americans are seeking long-term care insurance and explains the benefits of applying for long-term coverage. The escalating costs of long-term health care and how to pay for personal care services is a growing concern among aging baby boomers. A 2011 study indicates that the median costs for full-time long-term care across the U.S. ranges from $ 39,135 to $ 77,745 per year, depending on the type of care required. (source: genworth.com).
The increasing demand for LTCI reflects the 50+ age groups desire to protect their hard-earned assets (home, savings, investments, etc.) in the event of a long-term inability to care for themselves. Although anyone over age 18 may apply for coverage, most applicants are between age 45 and 74, which represents nearly 73 million individuals in the U.S., according to 2010 Census data.
AssuraPlans website provides compelling statistics showing that the number of people using paid long-term care services in any setting (i.e.: home, assisted-living residences, nursing homes, etc.) will likely double from 13 million in 2000 to 27 million by 2050 (source: U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services). According to the American Association of Long-term Care Insurance (AALTCI), 44% of men and 72% of women over age 65 will need long-term healthcare.
AssuraPlans mission is to provide assurance to you and your family as you plan for the future.
About AssuraPlans, LLC: AssuraPlans, LLC headquartered in Florida, specializes in long-term care insurance (LTCI). Its recently launched website is a single source of information on LTCI and how families can protect themselves against the high cost of long-term care with affordable insurance options.

Disruptive Health Care: How the Focus on the System is Shifting to the Patient
Time was, the patient drove the health care system, just like the car owner once drove the auto industry.
When the automobile was invented, there was no market for them. People were just fine with their horse and buggy, or their bicycles and legs. Auto manufacturers had to convince a reluctant public that cars were a value-added commodity. And convinced they were. It’s currently de rigueur to own a car; the auto industry now drives the public.
Similarly, the birth of medicine created the patient: without the sick and injured, doctors had no one to doctor, hospitals no one to hospitalize. The patient drove the system.
Spring ahead to today and the model for the health care system is that of giant insurance companies, mega medical centers, and multi-specialty physician practi…
